Notice regarding end-of-course exams: Please Read
Per TREC rules, a 30-hour Qualifying Education (Pre-licensing) or Salesperson Apprenticeship Education (SAE) course exam cannot be accessed until after the TREC-required amount of course hours have been spent in the course. According to TREC rules, a student may not spend more than 12-hours per day in a course, therefore a 30-hour course exam cannot be accessed until 2.5 days after you have registered for any 30-hour course. If you have purchased a package of 30-hour courses, each subsequent exam can be accessed 2.5 days after you finished the previous exam. Please see chart below for required exam schedule:

How do Online Self-Paced courses work?
Register online, study the presentations, follow along with your E-book and complete your open-book exams.You may also pickup or have have hard copies shipped to you for an extra fee. Upon successful completion of your course, your certificate of completion may be printed immediately.
How long does it take to receive my books?
Courses include a PDF/E-Book that may be downloaded immediately, there is no wait. You may purchase hard copies and pick them up at 8828 Research Blvd, Austin, TX 78758 or have them shipped to you, all you pay is the additional shipping. Books are typically shipped the next business day after purchase and are shipped via US Postal mail. Please allow 5-7 business days for delivery.
Can I pick my books up?
Yes, when you register for your correspondence courses and choose to purchase the hard copies of the textbooks. You will also have the option to have them shipped to you, all you pay is the additional shipping.
If I signup the day before my renewal is due, is this enough time to compelte the course?
We do not recommend this. TREC rules state that CE credits must be posted to your TREC account prior to paying your renewal fees to avoid being charged the $200 deferral fee. If you wait until the day before the renewal is due your credit for the course will not have time to post.
What happens if I run into a problem with registration or online test?

Do I have to take the classes in a particular order?
No, our classes are taught independently of one another and do not require prior knowledge of one course in order to succeed in another. The classes can be taken in any order that fits your schedule.
If I have to change my class dates, is there a penalty?
Absolutely not. We will gladly change your dates as many times as you need.
How do I transfer from an Express course to an Online course?
It’s EASY. Just call us at 1-800-624-5440 and we will be happy to transfer you from an Express course to an online course, transfer fees may apply.
Do your classes ever cancel?
Very rarely, but due to lack of enrollment some classes do cancel. Typically these classes are renewal classes or classes offered on a non-traditional schedule. Core, CE and Prep classes rarely cancel except in cases of an instructor emergency.
Do I get a lunch break?
Yes, in weekday and weekend courses you will get a lunch break every day from 12:30- 1:30.
How do I find a sponsoring broker?
Most students choose a major real estate company to become their sponsoring broker. You do, however, have many choices for your sponsoring broker, such as an independently owned brokerage or leasing agency. We have many job postings at The Real Estate Business School in our break room and on our call board.
I completed my CE class, but TREC sent me a letter saying I haven’t gotten credit. What happened?
If you have received a letter from TREC, don’t panic. It means one of two things a) your class roster was not filled out correctly or b) TREC did not process the rosters before your renewal deadline. It is very easy to correct and have your proper credit reported. Call and we’ll take care of it for you, our number is 512-453-0900.
